Kanteen
The college canteen. In India, it’s a sign of food, it’s a sign of chatter, it’s a sign of audaciously skipping classes to help out an “ailing” friend with sustenance. The identity for Kanteen in Dubai was therefore inspired by this thought and interpreted in the form of strong neon signage and markers, across the restaurant.
The Logo
Designed in a stencil-meets-neon style, the type allows itself to be extended across the restaurant in the form of way-finding systems. The colour palette as well lends itself to various branding elements with strong pops of colour.
The Identity
The identity includes illustrations that bring out the theme of the restaurant with irreverent college-style humour in a mix of styles.
